The pool area was incredible and the location was unbeatable and super, adjacent to the center of city, metro and public transportation and a lot of restaurants, and shops and cafes are. I had quick lunch at Sisli Sultanahmet Izgara, located a short walk to the hotel.

The hotel's location was perfect, very close to the Taksim square with a main shopping street and shopping streets within walking distance. Fast food restaurant Nizam Pide Harbiye was 200 metres away from the place. The staff members were top-class and helpful.

Certainly a perfectly pleasant experience for celebrating birthday in Istanbul. Plenty of bakery, fresh fruit, breads and meats at breakfast. Everything was fabulous as expected, yet the bathroom was tatty. We did n't use the plunge swimming pool but it looked excellent. Ancient hotel set in the very attractive area.
